Week of October 26th-30th

Testing is finally over! We will get back into our normal routine with classwork. Please review your child's flashcards every night. They need to know their multiplication facts completely in order to move on to division. It is VERY important that they stay on top of this.

What we are studying this week:
Math: Multiplication times tests and introducing divison
Reading: Identifying cause and effect in our stories
Writing: Understanding informational writing, and knowing how to use a dictionary, thesaurus, almanac, and atlas
Science: Rocks and Minerals

*Remember every night your child needs to read for 15 minutes and write a quick paragraph in their agendas that summarizes what they read. Additional homework assignments go home every night as well. Please remember to sign the agenda.
